Sunday School
At the heart of our ministry for children is our age-graded Sunday School Classes. Available for children from birth through 5th grade, each class is staffed with people who love and relate to children. As a part of recent building renovations, a children's wing was created to provide the best environment possible for children to learn to love and serve God. Children's Sunday School begins at 9:15am and ends at 10:15 am, affording adults the opportunity to attend adult Sunday School classes.
Children's Church
While children and adults are welcome in our main Sunday morning worship service, children's church is provided for children ages four years through 3rd grade. Nursery is also provided during morning and evening worship services for children below age four.
Children's Choirs
Since singing is important for all of our children, choirs are provided for each age group. Three and four year olds participate in our Cherub Choir, K5 and first-graders in our Music-Maker Choir, and 2nd through 5th graders are a part of the Young Musicians. Our choirs meet for practice at 5:00pm on Sunday afternoons, and are scheduled throughout the year to sing in our main worship services. Nothing warms the heart more than seeing our young ones sing for the Lord!
AWANA
Funny name with a serious purpose! The name AWANA is taken from the language of II Timothy 2:15, Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed. AWANA is a fast-paced children's club that combines three main segments: a devotional challenge, handbook time to encourage children to memorize Scripture, and a game-time filled with fun activities. AWANA is part of our Wednesday evening ministries from 6:30-8:00 PM.
Summer Camps
Summer camps provide the opportunity in a beautiful mountain atmosphere to relax, have fun with other children, and be impacted for the Lord in a special way. Our boys of all ages participate in camps at beautiful Camp McCall, while our girls camping experience is at Camp Marietta.
Summer Children's Program
Special weekday activities are planned each year during the summer for the children of our church. Contact the church for the current activities being offered.
Good News Club
Our on-campus ministry at Fountain Inn Elementary School, club time is filled with singing, Bible stories, and fun Bible games. Good News Club takes place each Monday during the school year on Mondays from 2:30-3:45, and is open to all children at Fountain Inn Elementary.
Vacation Bible School
One of the highlights at our church each year is our Vacation Bible School, when hundreds of children pour into First Baptist each evening. Singing, Bible stories, and fun activities make this the place to be for kids.

A variety of activities led by committed adults are designed to minister to every child, teaching them the essentials of faith and service.
